A chance encounter between two seventy-something women, different in character and visually, sets in motion a comic and touching story of female belonging and emancipation.
Swings is based on the book of the same name by Lucie Konečná. The central idea is old age and life in it. It is a topic that is somewhat neglected in cinema and yet very important. Bohdan Sláma already opened a similar theme in his successful film Bába z idu.
The main roles will be played by Dagmar Havlová and Zuzana Kronerová.
The film is now in pre-production.
