One Family
One Family (Season 1 and 2)
Comedy / Family
Czech Republic, 2022-2023
Five parents, five children, three households — together they make up One Family. Sounds chaotic? At first glance, maybe — but it’s not as complicated as it seems. Let’s break down who belongs to whom and how all these relationships in this big crew fit together!
Relationships can get pretty tangled. The lives of five adults and five children in One Family came together more or less by chance. But now, the most important thing for everyone is that the children are happy and content. So, how did the families get rearranged, and who belongs with whom?
The Adults — In a Nutshell
It all started with Filip. He had an affair with Norika, who got pregnant by him. That’s why Filip left his wife Petra. Petra began to grow fond of Karel, who then left his wife Klára because of her. And Klára? For now, she’s the only one who’s still single.
The Kids — In a Nutshell
Johan and Eliška are the children of Klára and Karel. Filip and Petra have Martina and Vašek together. And now Filip also has a third child — the youngest, Mikeš — with Norika.

This arrangement doesn’t bother Bob, as he lived there since he was a child, but Norika struggles with the situation and would like to have her own place. Filip is easygoing and doesn’t stress over things that aren’t urgent. He enjoys life and, rather than being employed and having to answer to someone, he started his own company specializing in high-altitude work, where he is his own boss. Norika lives with three generations of men—her son Mikeš, her husband Filip, and her father-in-law Bob. Sometimes it’s overwhelming for her. She would like to truly realize herself in something and not just be a mother on maternity leave who only washes dishes and takes care of the household.

His second hangout is the pub Osvěžovna, where he meets with his friends. He has no problem babysitting his grandchildren, who absolutely adore him. And why wouldn’t they?
